Bebras Challenge is a Computational thinking challenge organised every year by the University of Oxford. It’s a national level competition with more than 200000 students participating within the UK.

The skills include the ability to apply decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithmic thinking!  This is the first time our students in Year 10 at Rivers have participated in this national competition.

22 students participated in this challenge out of which 5 have achieved a distinction.

Congratulations to the Gold Award winner Matthew Stow who is among the top 10% nationally.
